The Elementary Office, in collaboration with the Elementary PSA, invites you to a week of relaxation. This is a small token of appreciation for all the wonderful things you do. Come sit by the fire, and enjoy some holiday treats, holiday movies and festive music in a relaxing atmosphere.
Date and times: December 1-4 8:00-4:00 pm.
Where: Sweet Treat Café (ES Office Rm 155)
See you there!
The Elementary Winter Concert will take place on Wednesday, December 9th. The rehearsal schedule and performance times will be shared this week. The Grade 4 Medieval Feast takes place on Friday, December 11th. Please keep these events in mind as you plan your final days before the upcoming break.
Our second all-school AISB Community event is the “All-School Charity Drive”. This year it takes places between November 30 and December 4, 2015. We are collecting used clothes, toys, and books for local children’s homes we support during the year, the Salvation Army, the New Hope/New Life Home, the Agh-Telek Dog Shelter and the Prizma School. It is another important community-driven event; it is a time when Elementary children learn the importance of helping others.
There will be large drop-off boxes located in Building A reception. We will be sorting the donations in the Multipurpose Room (MPR) in Building A on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
We need the support of Elementary students, parents and faculty at the Saturday sorting. Please volunteer for a few hours if you are free. The sorting begins at 9:00 a.m. and goes until 12:00 a.m.
Please email Adrienne if you are able to participate at the sorting at [email protected]
PLEASE NOTE: all Elementary students must be accompanied by a parent at the sorting.
“A little step goes a long way”.
Thank you again for helping AISB students make a difference in the world!
Those of you who have been here a few years might remember the Moth-Poulsen family. Katinka and Sigrid Moth-Poulsen have passed the 5-chair challenge, and continue on to Bootcamp next week. At Bootcamp, the 5 contestants in each group will be reduced to 3 who will continue to the live shows.
