*** Remember to check the calendar (at the bottom of this blog) for upcoming events.
Interim Associate Principal interviews will take place on Tuesday between 10:40 am - 2:15 pm. There are three panels (consisting of team leaders and subject area coordinators unless a conflict of interest was identified) who will be interviewing the three candidates in addition to their interview with the principal. We wish all three candidates a professionally rewarding learning experience throughout the process and thank our panel members for their flexibility and involvement. A special thank you goes to Erika for the quick schedule turn around.
All Faculty / Staff led ASAs and sports are cancelled on Tuesday, March 29, due to the All Faculty Accreditation Meeting after school.
Congratulations and Farewell
On Friday, we said farewell to Beth Sims as she headed off to prepare for the upcoming birth of her son. She will be missed by her colleagues, parents and students. We all look forward to meeting the newest member of Nate and Beth's family and wish them the very best as they begin the most challenging, yet most rewarding journey of a lifetime - parenthood.
Last Friday, our fire safety inspector, Sàndor Babay, was on campus. He observed our classrooms and noted many do not have the one clear window sill. This is the minimum requirement by Hungarian law. One full window sill must be free of all items to allow full access, when opening the window, in the event of a fire. All faculty are kindly requested to clear one window sill by the end of day Tuesday. Thank you, in advance, for ensuring the safety of our students and compliance with Hungarian law.
This is just a reminder that Accreditation Week is April 4-8. As requested by the visiting team, please be reminded that the classroom routines are expected to be as normal as possible. Field trips, assessments, and out of the ordinary activities should be scheduled in an alternate week. Please do not schedule any official or personal days during this week. If you are unsure whether or not an activity can run, please contact Tami Canale to confirm.
