Next Week's Schedule
Elementary students will engage in regular distance learning on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, classes will join together for one more ZOOM with their classmates.
Tuesday's Faculty Celebration- 5:15 pm on ZOOM
We look forward to celebrating you next Tuesday at 5:15 pm. If you were not on campus today and are not an AT coming to school Monday, please check your email this weekend for a special something in lieu of the usual feast you would have had at my home. Bring a drink and something to nibble on and we will celebrate you and farewell our colleagues. Please use the usual ZOOM link.
Final Assembly
At 10:30 am, Wednesday, we will meet online as an elementary school for our Grade 1-5 end-of-year assembly. Instructional Leads are kindly requested to send the link to all grade level families on Monday. The assembly will start at 10:30 am so have them join the Zoom at 10:25 am. Erika will send a reminder to families at 10:00 am on Wednesday and confirm that everyone should join ZOOM at 10:25 am for a 10:30 start. If you hear parents want to join but cannot because of other commitments (or location), let them know the livestream will be available following the assembly so they can watch the recording asynchronously. Once the assembly is finished summer begins!
The Wave
Join us for the traditional end-of-year "wave" on Wed, June 17. It's optional, of course, and if you do decide to come, here's what you need to know:
- It will take place from 12-12:45 in the school parking lot.
- Leaving families and seniors have been invited (it's not meant to be for everyone - too hard to manage that many people).
- You can choose to come in the morning and Zoom your last class / assembly / advisory from your classroom so that you're already on campus by noon, or you can choose to come later on.
- The Early Childhood classes are physically on campus, and they get out of school at 11:20. Please avoid arriving at their pick up time.
- The parking spaces on campus will be cordoned off from 12-12:45, so if you need to get out during that time, park outside the gates.
- Leaving families and seniors will drive up the driveway, around the circle at Building B, and back down, turning right toward the ES and driving through where the buses park. No one is allowed to get out of their car. Security will be stationed along the route, and we'll need everyone to be on board with this.
- Faculty and staff will line up along the route (wherever you like - as long as you are physically distanced from others).
Reports Go Live
Semester two report cards will go live at 4 pm next Wednesday, June 17th. Thank you for writing such thoughtful feedback.
Material Return and Collection of Personal Items
Earlier this week, families received an email from the office about how to collect their child's personal belongings and return school materials. If parents contact you, please direct them to Erika. If you are on campus preparing for the end of year, please remember to wear a mask and maintain social distance if engaging with parents. Parents have a 20 minute window to collect materials and leave campus before the next set of families arrive. Thank you for helping us keep the timeline.
